Do you have an innovative project that you’d like to advance? The Project Accelerator program is an opportunity to hone your idea and share it with people who may be able to help.
Project Accelerator: Let’s move you forward to make big change!
Join us ONLINE! (zoom)
Registration is required, please register HERE!
With a social kick-off on Friday night, the project accelerator is a chance for entrepreneurs, innovators and community leaders to MOVE FORWARD on a project they are already working on or KICK-START a project they’ve been dreaming of.
Business ideas, community ideas, non-profits, social enterprises… all types of innovation are welcome! If you’re looking to build sustainable communities and need clarity on your next steps, join us!
Events are planned for on-line in Whitehorse, Dawson City and Haines Junction and we will livestream the workshops via zoom.
Why a project accelerator? How will it help?
- Discover your deepest why
- Hone in on your theory of change
- Build your budget
- Understand what you need to move forward with confidence
These workshops lead up to a session with Powerful Strangers from across the Yukon (1-3 pm on Saturday) who may be able to help you with your next steps. During the Powerful Strangers online event, each project team will have up to 5 minutes to share what they are working on and “Ask” the community for help with whatever they need to move forward.
Food, facilitation and awesome connections with cool people working on exciting projects will be provided by Yukonstruct & YukonU Innovation and Entrepreneurship teams!
Who can participate?
Anyone looking to make positive social change through business or social entrepreneurship (NPOs included!). There’s no age limit to participate.
Do I need to have a business or be part of an organization?
No, you can participate as an individual with an idea, but we do recommend you consider forming a team. Groups and organizations of up to 6 people can participate.
